Experience the winter in Dalarna on skates.

STF  Youth Hostel in Falun is situated at a walking distance from the lake Runn and its marvellous skating ice.

If the ice is covered with snow several tracks for skating  are plowed on the lake Runn. The longest one is up to 30 kilometer.

Get the feeling of the smooth ice under the skates. Take a break at one of the many small islands and enjoy your lunch package.

You can rent your equipment at Runns Sjöbod if you don´t have your own.

In February the event Runn Winter Week takes place.
